What a fantastic find this place was, Such friendly Staff, lots of character to this old building, I had already read the reviews for the breakfast and we were not disappointed. The best homemade black pudding ever tasted, It’s such a great treat to find places like this still exist.

This is a traditional inn with traditional food in the best possible sense. The chef was excellent about food allergies and asked if we needed anything as they were going shopping. The village itself is very quiet and may not suit everyone but in a good position for the Malverns.

the staff were friendly and informative. It was a comfortable place to stay, excellent room, dogs allowed in the bar and in room, no fuss. Long standing family firm, happy to do early breakfast. great find and fantastic staff This place dates back to the 1500s - so its never going to be straight lines and square walls !! Great breakfast - brewery on site and next to the river. What else would yo need !! Great for walking etc Will definitely be back - but i expect this place gets rammed in the summer Look out for the beer festivals - you can stay there too so its a great place to visit

Amazing food and good service. Bed soft but comfortable. However the room was very cold and we had to wear jumpers and clothes to bed. Dinner was great but depending on where you sat (near fire) temperature difference was extreme.
