Josh was a wonderful host. Easy to communicate with. Property had water toys which we took full advantage of! Beautiful lake. Great scenery for a fire, fishing and a good glass of wine!
Neat little cabin right on the water. Although most of activities were closed for off-season, we were close enough to all of the attractions in the area for hikes. Property was perfect size for us for a sibling weekend away from home.
Great place, very relaxing. Josh was awesome with helping us get the Packer game on, even if the game wasn't very good. i would highly recommend this property.
Had a great stay at the cabin for Beefarama weekend! Location was great and cabin was cozy and clean! Highly recommend walking across the street and grabbing a pizza at Monicals! Loved seeing eagles and hearing loons on the lake each morning. Very quiet even though close to the highway!
It was a very nice place. Just right for two people. Everything worked well, except the one refrigerator, which didn’t get very cold. Overall, a nice place in a convenient location.
Very suitable for a couple. Ideally located on Brandy Lake. Flooring in kitchen is falling apart and could be a safety issue.

Liked: Communication, location
Disliked: Listing accuracy
Small cabin, as expected from the listing. Living Room was simply a futon and bed was a full size - thought it was a queen size from photos, so calling out for awareness. Shore was very much weeds with short piers - definitely not a swimming friendly location. We went to Torpy Park to swim since it was so close. Property was close to Minocqua, so easy to get around.
Location was perfect for what we needed, but the bed was only a double so it will only accommodate an average to small person/couple. The cabin is quite small, but it was updated.
Cabin was cute and the view of the lake was beautiful. Lake is small and wasn’t busy as we were there midweek. Great communication with Josh. Kudos to Angie as she was extremely helpful and arrived quickly when the internet went out due to a storm. Enjoyed our mini vacation there very much.
We had a brief stay of two nights. It's a cozy place as described, and was relatively quiet despite being close to the highway. GPS had trouble locating things in that area. The double entrance driveway is actually slightly north of Monical's Restaurant. Look for the host's blue sign. The host responded quickly to a minor question we had.
We fell in love with this place before we even walked in the door. The bed was comfy the kitchen was wonderful and clean and even though we didn't cook anything we know next time we will. Only thing we didn't care for was the wobbly toilet. Other than that it was perfect for a little getaway. Thank you!
My husband & I come up to the Northwoods for a week in February, usually to do some snowmobiling, but this year was a crazy year for snow!! But we decided to come & just do some much needed relaxing & ice fishing. When we arrived at the cabin, there were a few issues that I called & talked to Josh about, and he was more than accommodating & addressed the issues immediately. We had a great time & the place was great!! It's perfect for 2 people, awesome views of the lake & the eagles were flying on the lake pretty much every day!!! Would definitely recommend Josh as a host!! Plus he has other properties as well!!!
Cute little cabin. It was perfect for what we needed. We we needed a place to stay for a weekend getaway and It was better than staying in a hotel for about the same price. It is nicely updated for a very old cabin. The water is right outside your door. If the weather was not so chilly and rainy we would have definitely tried the fishing. The shore is very shallow but we did see fish hitting the surface, the morning we were leaving. Definitely made us want to do some fishing. It wasn't big enough for much more than the two of us but the futon sofa in the living room, looked comfortable enough for another guest to stay Very close to neighbors. Pizza place across the street was delicious. We went to the beer brewery two miles down the road and watched the game. This was fun. Then next night we drove 17 min to the casino for the seafood buffet and some gambling. This was. We won a little so that was not disappointing 😉
It was very hard to find the correct way into the property and the site description was way less than accurate. Even when I called Josh I got the same silly description. It would have been easy enough to say, "If arriving from the north, watch for the Burger Barn, stay in the right lane and take the first driveway just south of the BB. It is a two ended driveway which dives down hill on both ends when leaving the road and it is nearly impossible to turn into the further south end as it very narrow and angles almost parallel to the highway with 30 mph traffic and double lane plus a third lane for turns. The house number is not visible until you are in front of it at which point you are already in the driveway and 100 feet from where you turn in. Even if approaching from the south, unless you knew it was there. you have to turn across two lanes of traffic and thread the needle to get in from that end. Luckily it was still daylight when I arrived. PS Google maps are no help because lack of mailboxes or house numbers. Over all I enjoyed the lake and the cozy little place but didn't need the anxiety of finding it with no accurate information.
