Enjoy peaceful forest views, a gas fireplace inside, and easy access to the lake and nearby trails. For the snow lovers, you're less than 25 minutes to world-class skiing, restaurants, and shops of Stowe, or an hour to the untouched powder of Jay Peak. VAST snowmobile access is just down the road!


Escape to this peaceful woodland retreat located just a mile from beautiful Lake Elmore. The home is cozy, and thoughtfully set up for a relaxing Vermont getaway.

Inside, you’ll find two queen bedrooms and a twin bedroom, comfortably accommodating families or small groups. There’s a full bath with a glass shower and an additional ¾ bath with a stand-up shower in the laundry area for convenience.

The inviting living room features a gas fireplace for chilly evenings, and a window AC unit for warmer months. The fully equipped kitchen and in-home washer/dryer make it easy to settle in for longer stays.

Step outside to enjoy the large, grassy yard surrounded by woods — perfect for morning coffee in the Adirondack chairs, evenings around the fire pit, or a swing under the trees. Though the views are partially wooded, the setting is private, peaceful, and truly lovely.

In the summer and fall, enjoy swimming at nearby Lake Elmore or take in the views from the Fire Tower Trail atop Elmore Mountain. The restaurants and amenities of Stowe are just a short drive away, approximately 25 minutes.

In the winter, this cozy forest retreat is a perfect home base for your ski adventures! Smugglers’ Notch Resort is about 40 minutes away, Stowe Mountain Resort is around 30 minutes, and Jay Peak is roughly 50 minutes by car.
