This stylish lodge enjoys a peaceful, waterside setting within the heart of the Norfolk Fens. Sleeping four guests, the lodge makes a fantastic couples’ retreat or base for a small family looking to unwind amongst nature. It’s also the perfect retreat for keen anglers, with a fabulous fishing lake on your doorstep, and three further, fully stocked lakes within Pisces Country Park (1 mile). There are some beautiful walks to explore directly from the lodge (including paw-friendly trails), through the wildlife haven of Welney Wetlands. After a long walk, refuel at the friendly, local pub (within 1 mile). Further afield, journey into the bustling town of Downham Market (12 miles), to browse the outdoor markets and admire the stunning architecture of this picturesque Norfolk town. You’ll find some excellent attractions within easy reach of the lodge, including Sandringham Estate and Castle Rising (both less than 30 miles).


The attractive lodge sits alongside similar holiday homes within the beautiful Acorn Holiday Park. Inside, the lodge is bright and inviting, with high ceilings and large windows framing relaxing views across the surrounding landscape. The main living space is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, decorated in calming, neutral tones, with contemporary decor and sleek furniture. At the far end of the room, discover a stylish kitchen area with an island, ideal for preparing a hearty meal after a day on the lakes, which you can share together at the dining table by the window. In the evenings, sink into one of the sumptuous sofas to read a book or catch up on your favourite programmes on the Smart TV. The property has two inviting bedrooms – a double and a twin – along with a bathroom with shower over bath and a refreshing family shower room.


Outside, sit back and relax on your terrace, sipping a glass of wine as you watch the local wildlife and admire the far-reaching views across the lake to the countryside beyond. Included in your stay, you’ll have access to the on-site angling lake, which is stocked with roach, rudd, bream, common carp, and mirror carp.
