Office was supposed to be open until 9. Check in between 3 and 6. We got there at 5:45 and no one was there. We were not able to ask any questions about the area like where to eat dinner or breakfast the next morning. Key was in an envelope with our name. We were told if we checked in after 6 this would happen. Room was very spacious but walls are very thin. We could hear people around us.

We stayed for 3 midweek days in mid August, my sister and her husband in a cabin and my husband and I in a room. We loved the feel of the wooden wall, and that the room had a bathtub. (the cabin only had a shower). the river is lovely, the place is quiet, enjoying local culture in nearby Winthrop was fun. We enjoyed a hike to a local waterfall in Winthrop and also a lovely hike in nearby Twisp. Mostly, we enjoyed a slow paced break.
