We had a wonderful stay. We were there for two nights. Extremely clean, quiet, and close to shops and restaurants. Every room has a balcony that overlooks the river. It was very peaceful. They have a hot tub on site which you have to make a reservations for. But I actually enjoyed that because you don’t share a hot tub with strangers. Would definitely stay here again.

This is our second time staying at the Rio Vista. We absolutely love the setting right on the Methow River! All rooms have private balconies overlooking the fast-flowing river below, where you can sit and relax and watch the wildlife along the river. We watched a doe with two fawns, mergansers, bald eagles, swifts, and swallows, and went to sleep to the sound of the rushing water. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the location right on Main Street has easy walking distance to food, drink, and trails for walking. The only negative to this last stay was not a fault of the hotel. It was the weekend of the Hamilton Fire. A level 3 evacuation order forced the town (including us) to pack up and leave a day early.

Lovely getaway in Winthrop
