Winterberg Vacation Home for up to 16 people, right next to the ski resort and centrally located

We’ve been renting out our brand-new house since January 2019.

Our house is located at an elevation of 712.5 meters, in the most beautiful and prime location in Winterberg!
Right next to the ski slopes, hiking trails, and bike paths, yet just a 10-minute walk from the lively town center. From the house, you’ll always enjoy a stunning view of the ski jump and the mountains and valleys of the Sauerland. Tennis courts, a bobsled track, (summer) toboggan runs, a bike park, a climbing forest, and many other recreational activities are also nearby. The house is designed so that everyone feels right at home the moment they arrive—all year round.

Winterberg has plenty to offer year-round, no matter the season. In winter, of course, there’s plenty of fun in the snow; the contiguous Winterberg ski area starts right at your doorstep! Spring, summer, and fall are ideal for mountain biking, road cycling, biking (especially on an e-bike), motorcycling, and, of course, hiking—which can be enjoyed year-round. Always surrounded by beautiful nature with ever-changing views and vistas!

This is a detached house divided into two units. One is on the first floor and one is on the first floor. Both units, each measuring over 150 m², are virtually identical in layout and are equipped to accommodate 8 people. In total, there is room for 16 people. The apartment on the first floor has 2 spacious balconies, and the ground-floor apartment has 3 large terraces with several BBQs; the garden also features a concrete ping-pong table, a jungle gym with a swing, a slide, and a seesaw. There is ample free parking available at the house.

Both units have 3 spacious bedrooms: 1 bedroom with a king-size bed (double, 1.80 x 2.00 m) and a TV, one bedroom with two single beds (0.90 x 2.00 m), and one bedroom with two bunk beds (0.90 x 2.00 m). The beds will be made for you upon arrival. The spacious bathroom features a bathtub, separate shower, toilet, double sink, radio, and hair dryer. Your towels will also be provided. There is also a separate toilet.

The open kitchen is modern and fully equipped, featuring, among other things, a combination oven/microwave, dishwasher, DolceGusto machine, and a traditional coffee maker. The laundry room contains the washing machine and dryer. The living room features a spacious dining area, a cozy sitting area with a soapstone wood-burning stove, a (smart) TV with all Dutch channels, and, of course, Wi-Fi. The house has a full basement. Skis, snowboards, and toboggans can be safely stored in the basement. There is also a heated ski boot rack for 20 pairs of ski boots, snowboards, and gloves. Bicycles, mountain bikes, and motorcycles can also be safely stored in the basement. The basement also features a game room with a cozy bar, a table tennis table, a pool table, a dartboard, and a professional-grade Bonzini foosball table. In addition, the basement features an infrared sauna for 2 to 3 people.

It’s worth noting that the ground-floor apartment is wheelchair-accessible; there are no thresholds, and there is ample maneuvering space inside. This also applies to the bathroom. A shower chair is provided, as well as grab bars and toilet grab bars. An electrically adjustable high-low bed can also be provided upon request.
