Obviously there was a renovation in recent years but it was fine on the cheap. For instance, the carpet is those peel and stick carpet squares. It was installed badly, however, so I spent my tripping over the edges that were sticking up.
The initial desk staff upon checking in was nice (Nicholas). The lady there at check out was either out of patience for the day or that’s just her everyday attitude. I needed a paper receipt for my company to reimburse me and she got a bit of an attitude about it before even attempting to explain why I could not get a paper receipt.
Lastly, I was not aware it was valet only parking. At the price of the room, especially considering the value of the room itself, parking should have been included. This is the main reason I will not be returning.
Also, while I am not disabled, my room
was listed as a “disability friendly room”. The roll in shower had a pole with a sliding shower head on it. It was installed at an angle where it was impossible to use it without spraying outward and soaking the floor of the entire bathroom. I have no disability and found it very hard to wash without flooding the room. I believe it was installed incorrectly. Also, because the shower held attachment was set to the very top of the pole, no one in a wheelchair would’ve been able to reach it to use, defeating the entire point.
