Parkview is a quaint bungalow one block off the Lake. Easy access to Downtown, Winona State and recreation. Lovely back yard and front porch. Plenty of party in front and back. Definitely will stay again.

Very nicely-updated, clean property with everything you could want including lovely outdoor spaces. Property owner makes you sign a waiver - assumption seems to be you are going to destroy the place. Documentation provided by owner essentially indicates that neighbors have been advised to notify property owner of any “problems”, and multiple references to calling the police were also made in up-front documentation. Upon check-in there was a form waiting for us that wanted all sorts of personally-identifiable information with no indication of why it was being asked for or what the information would be used for. Our group simply did not fill the forms out. Overall it made us feel incredibly unwelcome, and the references to the fact that the neighbors would be keeping an eye on us was a very unsettling sensation as the houses are located very closely together; you can easily see into the neighbors’ houses and they can see into yours. We were a group of three adults in town for a wedding and we had a dog along. I don’t know if this approach is unique to this property owner or reflective of the city of Winona as a while, but we will not be returning. It is the first time I rented a Vrbo where I legitimately felt like I was being watched the whole time.
