The room was Neglected, dirty and smelt like cigarettes! I got locked out of my room every morning and the person who runs it yelled at me for waking them up to get back into my room. The key stopped working every 24 hrs

This place is terrible! Smoke detector was broken, no lock on bathroom window and screen was siting on the ground, bed blanket had multiple cigarette burns and place stinks of smoke. The best part, soundproofing between rooms doesn't exist. This allowed us to listen to a couple domestic fighting at 1am.

The shower area could be improved. Shower door was off the track and couldnt be put back on. The shower head needed a new one. No way to adjust the pressure. And it was so strong that it hurt. Parking sucked it was tight

Let me start by saying that all the lodgings in Winnemucca are way over priced, which leave travellers with less options. High demand for rooms because of mining and workers is possibly the issue. They can charge crazy prices and get away with it because of that. The Town House Motel looks fine on the Expedia pictures but in real life is very different. The office is filthy and covered in dust and magazines that haven’t been moved in months. We had to ring a door bell to get the manager to the front counter. When we checked in a voiced my concern about the bad reviews and the manager said that some people are never happy but at least the place was clean. We then went to check out our room #17. The carpet was dirty and stained. (We wore shoes the whole time) There was dirt and an empty pop bottle under the bed. The bedside drawer had an empty can and straw where someone had made a pipe for smoking who knows what with ashes and burn marks in it! The curtains were hanging off with no hooks. The bathroom was very old with dirty grout in floor tile and beside the toilet there was remains of cat kibble. The tub hadn’t had a good deep clean in a very long time as there was a layer of scum visible on tub and shower doors. The shower head looked like something from the 1950’s and almost ripped your skin off. We woke up to what looked like bed bug bites on my husband. I recommend to not go here!!!

Botched reservations. No record of my request for a second stay later in the week. First room assigned lacked heat; second room assigned was filled with sleeping people. Third room had not been refurbished with toilet paper or towels!

No functioning pool. Looked as if several rooms had longterm tenants. Rooms were a dated and could use some TLC. Housekeeping did a poor job of cleaning the bathtub (dirt film in the tub, which I wiped away with the wash cloth before use). One light needed repair. Good thing I was only there to sleep the night.

The place was nowhere near what the pictures portrayed. It was so run down and the sheets were yellow and stained. I could have dealt with all that if the bed was at least clean and the sheets were clean and actually the color white.But they were not. And it's stank like mildew.

The motel is very rundown, carpets are badly stained, the sink drained slowly, there were actually some hairs on one of the pillows, and considering the price for a night’s stay, this will be the only time we’ll stay there.
