The owners Greg and Angela were great hosts , available and accomodating . Spacious rooms in great condition and very clean . Great breakfasts at an extra cost but worth every penny .

Lovely stay at the Westbourne, we were attending a wedding in the Lakes and stayed for 2 nights. The en suite was spotless, comfortable bed and pillows. We had breakfast on the second morning which was great value and quality. Really is great value for money, with friendly staff and an easy check in experience. Would definitely recommend.

The hosts are wonderful. Friendly and helpful. They make a great breakfast. The facilities are very nice. The location is excellent. Within walking distance of the Bowness-On-Windermere high street but in a quiet area. I would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended.

The property is located in a quiet peaceful area of bowness but within easy reach of all the bars ,shops and restaurants. The guest house features modern decorative rooms and safe parking. Hosts are welcoming and always available if needed. Returned to this property many times.

2 night tour of the lakes

Just spent a wonderful 2 night stay here with my partner. Everything was amazing we stayed in room 1. A beautiful upstairs corner room with a lovely view and sun all afternoon. The room was spotless with a lovely comfy bed there was everything we needed and it was very quiet. The bathroom is a little snug if you’re a larger person but again spotless with a great shower. Breakfast was delicious and everyone who worked there so friendly and helpful. We met Sue one of the owners on the last day absolutely lovely lady. Perfect location a 6/7 min walk from the lake. Parking was easy and we were allowed to park from 11am and to leave the car til 1pm allowing us more time to explore. I would highly recommended and can’t wait to come and stay here again. Thank you for the perfect couple of days.
