Situated on the top floor of the building, this spacious and immaculately presented apartment will delight all who stay here. Enter the apartment into a hallway with a striking feature wall. All rooms are accessible directly from here. The living area is open plan making it the ideal social space for a family or small group of friends. There’s plenty of comfy seating for the whole party, a Smart TV and a good choice of books and games for additional entertainment. A dining table with benches complements the room which leads into the well-equipped contemporary kitchen, offering everything you need for a comfortable stay. Also on this floor are two spacious bedrooms, the master boasting a super kingsize bed and plenty of storage. The second bedroom has a ¾ double bed and a full-size single, again with storage. This property is perfectly placed to enjoy all that Bowness-on-Windermere has to offer, including some of the Lake District’s finest attractions. Take a cruise on Lake Windermere to Ambleside or across to Lakeside to enjoy a day at The Aquarium. You can also hop on the steam train to Haverthwaite. Alternatively, try sailing and hiring your own boat for a few hours. Bowness-on-Windermere is also home to Beatrix Potter World and the wonderful Art Deco Royalty Cinema. If you’re feeling energetic, there are several walks nearby, including ‘Orrest Head’ in Windermere. This is a relatively short walk offering spectacular views over Lake Windermere. Some of the Lake District’s fantastic fells are a mere short drive away, as well as the small ‘Alpine’ like village of Grasmere, where William Wordsworth is laid to rest at St. Oswald’s Church, and if you’re a fan of Gingerbread, a visit to the Grasmere Gingerbread shop is a must!
