The room was cleaner than expected! No heat in the bathroom and there is a space under the door which lets air in but all in all a cute place. Outdated but the price is reflective of that. Very nice owners. I jad to unplug the fridge to ude the micriwave ans put the coffeepot in bathroom to ise because there is only 1 outlet for appliances. I wasnt sure about the area because my friend said Mt Royal was not a very dafe neighborhood but everything seemed just fine. I actually slept like a baby and I dont sleep easily in hotels.

Parking is good and outside the door. It's quiet. It's a one-story building. Area seems safe. Not handicap accessible. Large step up into the room. Stairs up into the front office from both entrances. Bathroom is minuscule and shabby, the commode is old and so low to the ground that it is dangerous for a mobility impaired person. The bathroom light is the same switch as the vent fan and it makes a racket when you turn it on. The heat worked well, the carpet looks relatively new. With two beds in the small room, the bathroom door opened up against one of the beds. I found the mattress to be hard and uncomfortable. I would not recommend. I'm sure there's better options in the area for the price.

Room was small but seemed very clean. Nice big TV. Bed was comfortable pillow were too thick for me. I loved the vintage look in the bathroom with the pink tile! Staff was friendly asked us everyday if we needed anything!

The place is nothing to look at, but it was very clean, the bed and pillow were very comfortable, the shower was hot with good pressure and it was on a street with little evening traffic. The bonus was a screened window that allowed fresh air and the sound of crickets so I fell asleep easily.
