The hotel was dated and in need of a refurb but everything was clean, comfortable and worked. We were impressed by the gym, enjoyed the breakfast and slept well. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We would recommend and visit again. Down sides were that people were up early to catch flights and it was quite noisy for a while. Also we found travelling to Etihad Stadium expensive.

Best quality is being near the airport

Rooms are small, temperature control on the shower in my room did not work at all. Cleanliness was subpar. Airport shuttle was quite nice, very comfortable and arrived on time.

Not much to do around the hotel and pretty hard to get into Manchester city center without a car. Public transit took around an hour with multiple transfers. Airport shuttle was excellent though and if you are ok with the travel time by transit then it's worth the lower cost compared to the other airport hotels. Def not the cleanest room I've ever stayed in. Shower head did not work. Had to use the handheld wand instead to shower. Leisure center was nice but an additional cost I was not aware of when booking my room. Had to pay extra £5 per day to use the gym, steam room, sauna and pool.

We've stayed only for one night but can't fault it at all. We've enjoyed the pool and breakfast. Room was clean, bed comfy. National Trust park right next door but the weather wasn't good enough to go for a walk. Generally a pleasant stay

Found check in somewhat hard work. Checked in online through the email sent and had a confirmation of the check in but when came to the front desk it appeared that the check in wasn’t done and the receptionist had to re-do it but he did appear to have some sort of an attitude to be honest so that could have been a bit more pleasant but overall can’t complain.

Extremely disappointed

Extremely Basic hotel rooms. Our room was not clean there were marks on walls & the one chair in the "double room' was marked and dust around edges there was cobwebs in corners and cieling with spiders and blood & stains on curtains. I asked reception if we could upgrade & was told NO because you have dogs. I told him the room is dirty and there is cobwebs and spiders everywhere can we change rooms. We were given another very small room which was much cleaner. The tv didnt work in there. Not impressed we definitely wont be staying there again.

Comfortable Stay Near the Airport with a Parking C

I stayed at this hotel recently and found it clean and comfortable, though it feels quite dated, like stepping into a hotel from the past. The room had a few useful features I appreciated, including an iron and ironing board, a good shower, and a very comfortable bed. The food served at the bar was surprisingly good, and the location is convenient, close to the airport and easy to reach. One thing to be aware of is the parking situation. When I arrived, I saw a sign in the car park saying you needed to pay within fifteen minutes. I downloaded the parking app and paid, only to be told at reception that parking is actually free for hotel guests. Unfortunately, they could not refund me because the parking company is separate from the hotel. So make sure to check with reception before paying for parking. Overall, it was a decent stay with a few quirks. If the hotel updates its décor and clears up the parking confusion, it could be a solid choice for airport travellers.
