This is an old hotel full of charm. The place was clean, cozy and the staff was fantastic. The room we had did not have a fridge but an ice bucket was provided. The food in the restaurant was delicious too. Parking was convenient as was the location.

I absolutely loved my experience at the General Denver Hotel in Wilmington! The old-fashioned elevator was really cool. I loved how Terri was able to help me by allowing us to use the elevator anytime we needed by always being available for us. She made sure we were taken care of very well. She is a very kind person and made our stay very welcoming. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone

Glad I stayed here through a tornado warning. Nice old hotel with lots of original features. The lack of a front desk person and the inability to use the elevator (though I did not try since prior reviews said it had to be operated by one of them) dinged this hotel. I had no trouble parking, but I arrived late and left early.
