The facility has been undergoing remodeling construction for some time. I ended up on the recently remodeled 5th floor. The vinyl plank flooring in the room with a carpet overlay around the bed is a nice touch.

Staff were wonderful! The bar was great and food was very good. The room was very nice and overall, the entire stay was delightful. The only thing noted that was iffy was the amount of air freshers used. There were overwhelming scents in the hallways and common areas.

I was so looking forward to my stay at this Doubletree I have stayed at several dobletrees in many locations. This one sorely disappointed me. I did not like being given a room in the basement. It had a running dehumidifier. The furnishings seemed worn and outdated. The air conditioning unit ran very loud. The bathroom was very nice. Towels were very nice. Crabtree & Evelyn very nice
