Wonderful studio apt in heart of Wilmington (downtown area/historic area). When you arrive, you can park out front for just a minute to go in and grab your parking pass. There’s two red doors to get into the apartment area. The first red door is unlocked the second one you need a code- so please make sure to get that code from Vacasa. Parking is directly next to slice of life. It is very close to the apartment, short walk. The apartment was beautiful. The location was amazing. You will be very close to the estuary where you can have beautiful views of sunset or sunrise. By the water, you can see the battleship and take amazing pictures. The apartment is located next to shops, coffee, food, everything you may need. Walmart is a short 15 minute drive away for anything you may have forgotten. The apartment was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, you have everything you need in the apartment except for a microwave (I recommended to Vacasa that they put one in the apartment). I had some initial trouble with the second red door. A code was not provided to me, the local manager there was very quick to give me a call and handle the situation. It was a breeze to fix. Although you are in a quiet zone there, I do recommend packing a sound machine for anyone who’s either a light sleeper or likes to sleep with a fan on. I do plan on trying to stay again maybe in the winter at this very same apartment!
