First off, I had to contact the property manager 3 hours prior to check in to find out how to enter the property because no email was sent. This is when they told me there was lock box on the A/C and it was set at 71. I mentioned that was a bit cold for me, but thought I’d rather be cold than hot. The condo smelled of weed and the walls were so thin I could hear the neighbors moving a chair. The beds were sparse with only a sheet and thin blanket. With the air set at 71, we ended up putting our sweatshirts on as we were freezing while sleeping. The pillowcases were dirty and had hairs, shower had rust in it, and the living room rug was stained and dirty. The front bedroom only had a sheer white curtain and an overhead light, so we didn’t use that room because you could see right into it at night. When I went to look at the balcony to see the pool (that was green, btw) the sliding glass door was unlocked with the lock non-operational. I texted the property manager that I didn’t feel safe with not being able to lock it (that’s one positive, they quickly responded on text and calls) and they told me there was a metal bar in the laundry closet I could use…?! We paid for 6 nights and stayed for 7 hours. The property manager offered the next day when I told them we were vacating to put us in another house, but I had already made a reservation for a hotel and they wouldn’t reimburse us anything.
