Great check in; parking at room door; room spacious, BUT fire alarm dismantled; could not connect to internet; no kleenex, water glass or ice bucket, raised toilet, inroom coffee; only 1 tiny soap with shampoo on sink outside of bathroom; couldn't get hot water in shower; sofa in bad shape.

The rooms were terrible. There was black mold, spider webs with spiders and the floor stuck to your feet, Mildew on the curtains, We had young children and could not stay. Wouldn't give a refund.

Avoid this property. No Really! Avoid it. There is homeless and unsafe people hanging around the property without intervention from property staff. I was begged/solicited for money with only having been there for a few minutes. Immediately upon checking into my room, I smelled Fabuloso cleaning product trying to cover up nasty and dirty smells from the room. I immediately went back to the front desk and asked for refund, but since I have booked it through Expedia, it was not possible to get that money back. They never responded to Expedia request for compensation. I was in the room less than three minutes before I went back to the front desk. Management did not respond to anybody’s request from Expedia nor myself.

AT A GLANCE? NO DEPOSIT NO STAY NO REFUND ON ROOM.

I am literally in shock that i was sent an opportunity to review this hotel..i booked this room about 2 1/2 hours before i arrived..final price with taxes and discounts was $63...if there are any attorneys out there reading this, under the heading of AT A GLANCE they mention a $100 deposit depends on hotel...AT A GLANCE is a place to post garage sales or social events...Hotels.com announces the necessity for a deposit...nowhere on the webite under anything financial⁰ or whats in the room does it talk about putting a $100 deposit.... AND if you dont have the $100 deposit to put down on your credit card... YOU CANT STAY IN THE ROOM THAT YOU PAID FOR....NOR DOES IT SAY YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR MONEY BACK THAT YOU USED TO PAY FOR THE ROOM WHEN YOU RESERVED AND PAID IT ON LINE. i arrived at the Bates Hotel( aka OYO) around 1130 PM. Mrs Sirdeep walked out from behind a curtain enterance to their apartment..she had a scowl on her face and immediately asks me if i am traveling with animals? Each of the 4 times she asked me, her tone sounded more and more accusing..then the 2nd repedatuve accusing question was how many people im traveling with...each time she asked i had the same response..i was traveling alone..Then she asks me for a separate drposit of $100..what? I didnt have it. My deposit had not deposited yet into my acct..The room i paid for i only had $65 in my acct waiting for my deposit that was to happen during the night..Mrs Sirdeep said i couldnt stay there and no refund!!

Worst Hotel I’ve Ever Stayed in

Absolutely disgusting. The room was terrible. There were still hairs in the shower, the coffee maker was disgusting, the floors have clearly never been mopped, it’s all vinyl and dirty and sticky. Chair was stained and disgusting. Everything is rundown and you can tell they slapped some new paint and called it a day. Every time someone in an adjacent room shut their door the lights and power in my room would flicker. I had to be in the facility for work otherwise if I had a choice I would’ve immediately left and gone elsewhere.
The toilet seat didn’t fit the toilet?? And was gross.

I needed a room for my mom who was visiting for a her doctor’s appointments, and not only did the Uber driver inform her that the hotel is known for drug dealing and sex workers, but the concierge staff demanded a deposit of 100$ she would get back in three days or more. Let me say that I’m horrified that she didn’t feel safe enough to take a shower, but she mentioned massive scratch marks on the bed frame and other patrons literally camped out in front of their doors in lawn chairs. I will never ever book this hotel again.
