No chance of beating the price for the overall stay. I saved about 400.00 over two nights by staying there instead of a major hotel downtown. Plus, it’s not too bad of a ride to get downtown for other food options outside of the ones right next to the motel. Friendly staff, good experience, solid overall stay. Would stay again.

My impression is that this refurbished historic motel from the mid-20th century is owner operated. Plainly the staff try very hard to give you a good experience. This said, the room stank of disinfectant, so badly that I had to open all the windows for a hour or two to clear the room. Also the property backs against train tracks, which are in use. Otherwise fine.

This was an easy, clean and quiet motel not too far from North Adams. I think it would be great for hikers or others seeking a pleasant place to stop. Really nice tables and sit-down swings for adults, too.
