We were disappointed that this "Inn" is really an older motel, run together with another older motel across the highway and a converted barn/restaurant. We should have read the descriptions and reviews more carefully. On return, after checking the listing, it was perfectly clear. Note: If you want an Inn experience, the converted barn seems to be the place to stay. On the positive, the room was quiet, the beds comfortable and everything was clear although very well worn. The 1896 restaurant was very nice and an easy walk from our 'streamside' motel room. Parking was easy and right outside the room, as motels usually are. There were two nice rockers on the covered porch also right outside the door. Less positive, the office was rarely staffed, in two days we had to wait for someone to return 'from working around the property' all three times we went to the office...including at check in. The ice machine didn't work. The heat didn't work (but the office provided a space heater that was quite adequate).

Great time

Loved the spacious room, King bed was very comfortable and enjoyed the relaxing jetted tub. The restaurant has excellent food and service. Enjoyed sitting outside near the creek and at the fire pit in the evening.

Charming vintage roadside motel!

Charming vintage roadside motel! Clean and comfortable with original features like gingham cloth wallpaper and cool pine chairs. This is not a greige corporate chain place! Staff were all really nice, shower was hot with good water pressure. The restaurant had good food and friendly service. A pleasant stop in Williamstown!

Lovely inn and great restaurant!

The room was pleasant and the grounds were nice. Nothing in disrepair. The ‘6 Restaurant was wonderful-our waitress was fabulous, decor was lovely and the prices were quite reasonable. A definite “thumbs up” and sure to return.

Very run down, was ok for what we needed. Was expecting something a lot nicer from what was showed on website, also said I was getting a king size bed, walked into two doubles For the price of $230 I should’ve booked the Howard Johnson’s a town over for $110 Disappointing stay but at least got a decent night sleep

It’s unique historical property. The front desk allowed us to check in three hours early due to it’s a snowy day. We had a lovely thanksgiving dinner in the restaurant belongs to the hotel.
