I attended my nieces wedding at The Pine Barn. Great place for events. Also a great bar and restaurant. I first knew of the place when my mom stayed there when she was a patient at the hospital. Even when going through some very hard times, she loved The Pine Barn. I highly recommend the place to stay a few nights, or even to have a party.

Nice Place

Very nice place. Has it all in one place. Nice tavern restaurant. Geisinger medical Centre is right behind it. You can get shuttle from there right to the Hospital.

Everything was awesome. Nick at the front desk was absolutely awesome. All the construction is horrendous tho. And all the construction workers smoke their cigarettes right outside hotel door, probably bc they cant smoke on the hospital grounds

Nice Hotel

We enjoyed our very brief stay at this hotel. Front desk was excellent. Getting to the room was quick and easy. The highlight of the stay was having breakfast at the restaurant. Reasonably priced for good breakfast food.

Their online presence would lead one to believe this is some place special. It is not it is your average run of the mill, mid range hotel. Nothing special. That said, the place was clean, the staff professional, and the beds were acceptable. I cannot give them 5 stars due to the miss representation on line. Other than that, a perfectly acceptable hotel.

I took my young daughter for a little overnight getaway as a little mommy and daughter trip, which we have never done before. The staff were very friendly at check-in, and she was able to have her first room service experience as well. It's a quaint inn which served it's purpose for us girls.

Loved this stay

This was the most comfortable stay we have had in a hotel in a long time. Cleanliness was top notch. Front desk was very welcoming and efficient. Room and bed were well-accommodated and comfortable. Yes, to the rear is a very large hospital complex and there were sounds of construction currently between the hours of approximately 7am and 4-5pm, but the Inn still maintains its welcoming and homey feel. The restaurant on the grounds was excellent and fairly priced also. We would gladly stay here again in the future.
