There is just not enough words to say about the Lodge. From the greeters atvthe front door to the front desk, breakfast staff, dinner staff, bartenders, and can't forget housekeeping. Sure wonderful people, it's like a family atmosphere, a home away from home. I stayed many places, everyone was genuine, don't think there's a place out there to top the Lodge.

When I got to Woodlands, William & Mary College had to use the hotel to dorm the seniors, but the staff quickly had my accommodations ready at their sister hotel Williamsburg Lodge. They gave me a ride and the entire staff at both locations were wonderful. I was even given a ride to amtrak from Williamsburg Lodge when I left. They were lovely and so accommodating.

The Woodlands is our go-to place to stay in Williamsburg. It is older, but clean, affordable, and most convenient to Historic Williamsburg via the bus or nice walking path.

The place was pleasant and very clean. The staff were friendly and professional. I was shocked when they informed me at checkout that I was being charged an additional $169+ for use of their anemities because I booked through a 3rd party. I have never experience this with any other hotels.

This property is absolutely the best place to stay..It’s next to the Colonial Williamsburg Visitors Center, and within walking distance to the historic buildings. It’s a short drive to both Jamestown and Yorktown. The hotel serves breakfast and at one point had a restaurant on the property..We do miss Huzzah’s Restaurant. They had great food.

Nice, comfortable hotel

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were set up well with plenty of space. The wifi only worked well in the living room area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had the courtyard view which was very calming. Breakfast buffet was extensive with lots of options including a dedicated gluten-free station for those who need that. It was nice that the Williamsburg visitor's center was right next door so we walked over and got on the shuttle. The furniture was traditional which you would expect in this area. Couch a little sunken down, but overall the furniture and room were in good condition. We had a microwave and fridge as well as cabinets in the kitchen area.

This was a great place for my family of 4 to stay for a weekend at Busch Gardens. The grounds were well kept and a lot of activities for small children including the pool, splash pad, and putt putt. Also, well stocked continental breakfast and clean rooms! We’ll definitely be staying here again!
