Fun stay

My kids had fun at this property. It’s wide open and I could watch them play from the porch. I definitely recommend arriving during the day as the route was hard for us to navigate at dusk. Overall we enjoyed this property. It’s a small drive to the Grand Canyon national park.

I rarely leave negative reviews and prefer to resolve issues directly before posting feedback. Unfortunately, that was not possible in this case.The listing did not clearly disclose the condition of the access road. Upon arrival, we encountered a deeply rutted dirt road that was unsafe for a typical passenger vehicle. Had this been clearly disclosed, we would not have booked the property.After reviewing the listing and providing screenshots, I contacted Antonio and requested a cancellation and refund. I also attempted to resolve the matter through VRBO and Stay Neighborly. Despite these efforts, no refund was provided by the owner and he maintained that the listing and directions were accurate.My disappointment is less about the road itself and more about the lack of clear disclosure and the unwillingness to reach a reasonable resolution. Future guests should carefully consider whether their vehicle and comfort level are suitable for the road conditions before booking.In addition, the trip over the rutted road caused a slow tire leak that left us with a flat tire, 30 miles from any services. I just got a quote from a tow truck/tire service for 400 to take care of it.
