It was an awesome trip. The office staff was nice and the rooms were very clean. Its definitely within walking distance. The only thing is, they have piggy back parking. So, I would recommend pulling all the way forward. If you dont pull forward, you have to leave your keys in the office so the staff can move your vehicle for others to get out.

The room was fine for the stay, however, there were times I went yo the office and no one was there. Also, grounds need a little love and care. A pool is needed on the premises.

Nice staff, clean and affordable

Check-in process was easy and staff were friendly. The only thing that was an inconvenience was the parking situation. The parking spaces are set up as double parking so there is one car parked in back on the other in the lot. If your car is the second car ( blocking the first car in the lot) you have to leave your car keys in the front office in case they need to move it. Luckily we didnt need to use the car too often during our stay. The hotel is in a great location right across the street from the boardwalk and convention center. There is a bike rental place close by and many restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is what you expect from a wildwood motel. Nothing fancy but was clean and had a fridge and microwave. I would stay there again because of the location and nice staff.

Over all this hotel is great the only problem we ran into was that our refrigerator was broken the day we got there but they fixed it right away so I’m very appreciative of that. Also the room was a little smaller than we thought but was still spacious. Also parking is definitely something different. If you are blocking a car in you have to give your key to the front desk so they can move your car if needed. Now I was very hesitant at first about this but the guy at the front desk was young and very friendly so after two days I felt comfortable leaving my keys with him I did make sure to lock up anything I needed to and or bring it in the room if need to. I did feel bad bothering the working when needing my keys to get in my car but it is his job so I know there was no problem. Once again the receptionist was extremely nice and very friendly and understanding and made the stay at the hotel very comfortable. If and or when I’m to go back to wildwood I would definitely stay here again.

Wildwood stay

They didn’t have a room at the first property so they gave us a room at another property which is very nice it has a lot of space in it. The only thing is it’s a little farther than I wanted from the boardwalk. But other than that we are happy with our room.

Pros: Prime location - easy walk to boardwalk/beach, at the south end of the more active zone of the boardwalk. Front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. Family Dollar is a short walk from the hotel. Pool access at their sister property the a Coastal Sands, a short walk from the hotel. Great shower in the bathroom! Kitchen with decent size fridge, microwave, stove burners. Kitchen sink. Cons: No elevator to upper floors. Ice machine was broken. No pool on property, have to walk to sister property. Parking is TIGHT, cars are piggybacked and if your car blocks another car you must leave keys at front desk so they can move it, and front desk is not 24 hours, so if they have your keys you can't use your vehicle between 12 and 6 AM unless you bring a 2nd set, and if you're blocked in you're SOL and you'll need to call an Uber. The rooms are fairly small, our bathroom was tiny but had a great shower! Also bring plenty of extension cords and power strips for your electronics as outlets are sparse and weirdly located. Bottom line: there are some quirks, but the location is great, the rooms are adequately clean, beds are comfortable, AC works great, was good for a short stay. And the front desk staff was excellent.

When I went to check in at the Sunset Beach hotel I was told my reservation was not for 7/29/25. I showed them my confirmation from Expedia & they said that on their computer Expedia gave them 7/30/25 as my check in day which was the next day. Then they went on to tell me they had no rooms available. They said Expedia messed up my reservation and I’d have to deal with them. I was very upset because I drove over 2 hours for an event at the convention center which was right across the street from this hotel. They offered me a room at another hotel they were affiliated with a few blocks away. Because I had no other choice I had to accept this room but was very disappointed. As I was checking at this new hotel Coastal Sands Inn. Upon leaving the office after checking I also tripped on a rug on the ground and fell to the concrete causing cuts on both knees. The front desk person offered no help. This overall trip was very disappointing.

Basic beach hotel

Easy, basic beach hotel. Very clean, staff was very nice. Parking is terrifying (piggyback parking under the building, tiny spaces), but that’s most places in Wildwood. Tiny room but good enough for an overnight at the boardwalk.
