Welcome to The Big Pink House ,a spacious and characterful self-catering home perfect for large groups, family gatherings, or celebrations. Set near the village of Mealsgate, just north of Bassenthwaite Lake and Keswick, it’s a great base for exploring the northern Lake District while relaxing in style.

Inside, you’ll find 9 ensuite bedrooms sleeping up to 22 guests. 7 rooms are in the main house and two in the adjoining Cottage Annexe, both with walk-in showers and easy access. Beds can be arranged as super kings or twins, offering flexibility for families or friends.

The large dining room and private bar area make mealtimes special – perfect for dinner parties, cocktail nights, or celebrations. Cook with ease in the two fully equipped kitchens, complete with ovens, hobs, 3 dishwashers, and ample prep space.

There’s plenty to keep everyone entertained:
