Hotel is finished to a good standard. Good facilities in the hotel in terms of dining / bar but not very much nearby (1/2 mile walk into Wigston, 1 mile into Leicester). The only real drawback was the standard of service at check-in. The member of staff was disinterested. That said, we would stay here again.

Just misses “excellent” because it needs TLC

Friendly helpful staff, delicious breakfast with an extensive selection. Overall the room was very clean but the carpets in the corridors need a good steam-clean and the doors, walls and paintwork are scuffed and chipped. Our bathroom door was splitting and peeling at the bottom, probably due to the effects of bathroom steam over the years & the shower stall had a build up of limescale at the corners. Just needs a bit of TLC & money spent on redecoration/refurbishment to get an “excellent” all round.

Staff were excellent and very friendly especially reception. Very warm welcome, I liked the rooms, they have a modern feel and the bathroom clean and modern. Surprisingly good breakfast with all you might like to eat for a modern British breakfast.
