This place looks like they put some money into the building, but the walls in the room were very dirty, there were boogers on the shower curtain. the furniture was dirty and in poor shape. The Staff was awesome and the breakfast was great.

We found that the hotel (Quality Inn) in Wickenburg was worn and run down -- and not cared for. The bathroom in our room was very small. The breakfast was disappointing by having no decaf coffee, butter, or fresh bread.

I purchased travel insurance for this booking and had to cancel day of. I tried to cancel online but the property had already checked me in. I tried calling the property at least a dozen times and no one answered. There was no voicemail option either. The travel insurance told me they too tried calling several times and no one answered. The insurance company said they could not give me a refund without speaking with the hotel first.

The hotel was old and filthy. Bugs were jumping on us in the room, the sheets were yellow and stained. My sister just had surgery. We booked another hotel, the property manager told the front desk clerk to check us out and that we wouldn't be charged. Since we went through Expedia, they said we would have to get the refund through them. It was not granted by Expedia. Think twice before going through a third party.

Disappointing

From pics on hotels.com it looked decent. Got there and checked in which that was okay. Going to room.. they had towels laying on hall floor from who knows what if someone spilled something or what- next morning towels was still there. Our room, tiny pillows for king size bed covers consist of sheets. And the room AC we set on high and never cooled so that was broke. We hardly slept due to traffic noise and AC not working. Oh and when we got into room I always check things…. The window was left unlocked so who knows what or who could come in. I locked it immediately. If the fact of driving over 10 hours and being tired wasn’t factor.. I would’ve drive further found another place.

There was no elevator at this property, and I am disabled with the neuromuscular disease. Walking up and down the stairs twice each time I took my luggage into the room and then back down the next day caused pain to my legs, knees, and back. Had I known there were no elevator I would have requested a ground floor room or gone to a different hotel.

Nice stay, comfortable room.

Overall the stay was pleasant except for the AC that was so noisy and failed to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. Since we only stayed for one night we didn't make a big deal out of it, but we did inform the front desk of the problem. We most likely will stay at this facility again in the future.
