We wanted to like this hotel, but our stay was disappointing and concerning. We booked based on the photos and positive reviews, but upon arrival, the experience quickly changed. While the front desk staff were polite and welcoming, I noticed two large spiders in the pool area — one nearly the size of an adult’s hand. The cleaning staff removed them right away, but it left a bad first impression. Our room (320) was spacious, but the floors were very dirty — within minutes, my children’s feet turned black just from walking barefoot. The bathrooms had what appeared to be fans, but none functioned, and electrical outlets were limited. The next morning, my spouse found another spider by the door. Later that night (between 11 PM and 2 AM), a loud group kept slamming doors and laughing in the halls. We and other guests called the front desk to complain. The most serious issue occurred when a family member woke up with a severe allergic reaction and swelling under her arm. When we reported it to the supervisor, we were told to “just take Benadryl” and dismissed without care or concern. She later required medical treatment and antibiotics — a visit that will likely cost over $600. Overall, cleanliness, noise control, and guest care were not up to standard. Families traveling with children or elderly loved ones should be cautious and trust their instincts.

I was greeted by a very friendly desk clerk ... Then greeted by a very nice room. If I had any disappointment, it was that the location was close to the intersection of two main traffic arteries in Wichita so traffic noise was evident throughout the night. This was a last moment reservation and I was aware of the location, does not represent anything bad about my stay.

Overall the stay was great, the breakfast was ok. Our only issue really was that there were things that had maintenance problems that had not been repaired adequately or that weren’t repaired. There was a hole in the bathroom ceiling that had not been repaired, there was floor trim that has become unglued and was just a sore sight to look at. Overall customer experience was great and I would stay here again but I would just let the maintenance crew know to look at every room and fix what is obvious and makes the room look bad.
