FIVE STARS!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My stay at Hilton Garden Inn Wichita was fantastic! Super nice hotel, super clean, nicely decorated, friendly & helpful staff. There is noisy traffic on the main street especially on the weekends, lots of loud cars & motorcycles that like to rev their engines. This of course is not the hotels fault and if this is something you might be sensitive too then I suggest booking your room in the rear of the hotel. My room was on the ground floor and in the rear of the hotel and it was super quiet! I didn’t hear any street traffic. The bed was super comfortable as were the linens and pillows. Super nice indoor pool area on the 6th floor and nice fitness center in the lower level. My truck felt safe in the parking garage and was not bothered with. Great location, close to some fun ships and restaurants. I will most definitely stay here again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

"Draggin Douglas" is a problem

It is a nice location and the hotel is well maintained, but I will never stay there, again. This is because of the road noise. Until 3 AM, cars were "draggin' Douglas" in front of the hotel, revving and gunning engines. Sleep was impossible. It was my restless hotel stay ever. This is something outside of the hotel's control, but nonetheless. . . Also, be aware that there are very few free parking spaces. If those are occupied, you must pay to park in the city garage.

Unregistered guests were taking over the pool area and played music that was too loud for us to be in the swim area. Our room was tiny, and our view was the parking garage. The bathroom had a see-through door with just a shower. They had signs up for a dinner buffet, but when I asked about it, staff was short with me and said they wouldn't be serving until the 19th. Also, the front desk lady was nice but looked like she was on benzodiazepines or opiates. Maybe both. The manager was creepy and came up to my daughter (just 18) asking if she played piano because they needed a pianist, or if she knew of anyone who was a pianist and wanted to give her his contact information - suggested Facebook messenger. That was uncomfortable. I won't be coming back to this hotel. Ever. I checkout out at 10:30pm the same day I checked in.

A night out

We stayed here due to the location of the Intrust Bank Arena. We received the room with no windows, which wasn't a big deal to us. The room was set to a cool temp, which we enjoyed, but realized it was to mask the humidity. The sheets felt damp even though they weren't physically wet. The ventilation in these rooms are not great. Our tv did not work. Said there was a connection issue. We didn't bother to figure it out. The entrance to the hotel and parking was tricky, but the staff was great about directing us on what to do after we arrived. We didn't spend a ton of time in our room, but for the cost, these are not easily looked over concerns.

The property is beautiful. The staff was nice. It's a little hard to get to the pool but the pool area is nice little retreat area. Only "flaw" was the limited hotel parking. The city parking garage is attached to the hotel.
