Our safari tent brings the beauty of the outdoors inside, providing a comfortable canvas hideaway with plenty of rustic charm. The interior features a king-size bed and bunk beds with warm bedding to ensure a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring.

The tent features an open-plan living area that steps out directly onto your private wooden decking. It’s the perfect spot for slow mornings sipping coffee while listening to the birdsong, or watching the sunset over the rolling meadows. The tent is off-grid, allowing you to completely switch off from the digital world, embrace a slower pace of life, and reconnect with nature.

Your Space & Private Facilities:
While there may be a few other campers enjoying the wider meadows at Pencwm Escapes, your entire glamping setup is completely private to you. You have your own fully stocked outdoor kitchen, gas griddle, hob, covered seating, and dedicated washing-up station. Your adjacent private bathroom features a hot rainfall shower, sink, and compost toilet. To keep your stay as comfortable as possible, a mid-stay bathroom clean is fully included in your booking price.

Guests have full access to explore everything that Pencwm Escapes has to offer, including our beautiful woodland gardens.

Please note that the wider acreage and communal walking paths are shared with a small number of other campers on-site. It has a lovely, low-key community feel, while still offering plenty of space for everyone to find their own quiet corner to take in the fresh country air and connect with the landscape.

We love giving our guests total peace and privacy to fully immerse themselves in the quiet country lifestyle. The safari tent is designed for independent, self-contained living, so you can check yourself in and make yourself at home.

However, we live right here on the grounds. We are always close by if you need anything at all—whether that’s pointing you toward the best walking trails, recommending our favourite local castles, or helping you out with more firewood. Just drop us a message or wave if you see us in the fields.

Greener Camping Club Membership: As an eco-conscious site, we are proud members of the Greener Camping Club (GCC). In line with the club's guidelines, at least one guest per booking must be a member. To make things completely hassle-free for you, the mandatory £12 annual membership fee is already fully included in your nightly booking rate! We will handle the admin seamlessly on our end.

Dogs: We are proudly dog-friendly! Well-behaved dogs are very welcome to join your escape, but please keep them under control to respect the local wildlife and our peaceful setting.

Off-Grid Living: This is an authentic glamping experience designed for switching off. Pack a portable power bank for your phones, bring a torch for starry night walks to the fire pit, and get ready for a wonderful, low-key country retreat!

Extra children: An extra child or Infant can be added to your booking - please message for more information prior to booking.

Guest access
Guests have full, exclusive use of the safari tent and its immediate private garden area, complete with an outdoor seating space and your own fire pit.

You are also warmly welcome to explore everything that the wider grounds of Pencwm Escapes have to offer, including our peaceful woodland gardens, tree-lined meadows, and communal walking paths. Kids (and adults!) will love discovering the hidden woodland fairy doors and having a turn on our popular rope swing.

Please note that these wider acreage and garden spaces are shared with a small number of other campers on-site. The site has a lovely, low-key community feel, while still offering plenty of space for everyone to find their own quiet corner to take in the fresh country air. To ensure the meadow stays completely peaceful and car-free, ample parking is safely situated on-site, just a short, scenic walk away from your canvas retreat.
