Brilliant weekend stay at this old hall Staff were so friendly and made us so welcome . Given an upgrade to a huge room with Four poster bed which we were thrilled with Food was lovely ...maybe too big a portion for us !!!!!! Excellent hotel, probably best I have stayed in, in the area. Clean rooms, staff friendly and professional. Parking facilities ok, slow EV Charger's on-site however Fast EV chargers available within ~3 miles of the hotel so no issue there. Wi-Fi facilities on site good high speed connection. Food excellent (Evening Meal / Breakfast). Local wildlife observer (Rabbits) in gardens. Will be staying here again when next in the area.

We have never visited The Lakes and wanted an overnight stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Would highly recommend staying here. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The food for the evening meal in the restaurant was lovely followed by breakfast the next day, with plenty of options. Also helped with have parking facilities on site and free for visitors to the hotel. Was not disappointed with our stay, and would definitely visit again in the future

This is a wonderful hotel, we felt really welcome and value for the money nothing was too much trouble for us and the dog. The room we had was very large with a huge bed. Will love to go back sometime.

The hotel has so much history and the church across the road is beautiful. The rooms were warm, immaculate and the medieval stairs are a must. Food was all homemade and the breakfast was plentyful. Will definitely stay there again when I'm in the area.
