This lodging had both exceptionally friendly service and comfortable beds in very clean rooms. We would definitely stay here again. While the breakfast could have had better options, there is a gas station across the street that had excellent doughnuts.

Just like home.

So cozy and homey. Clean room and lovely decor. Even had fall decor in our room. You can tell they care about their guests’ comfort. The room has bottled water and snacks. The lobby was filled with snacks for guests. Breakfast choices were amazing. Every kind of juice you can think of along with everything else. Everything you need is right there. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel has an excellent location, right off the highway. The rooms were clean, although they are nothing spectacular. They certainly were good for the price. They also have a basic but breakfast, which is free. The service and staff are very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely return if we were staying in the area again.

Jefferson Inn, Whitehall MT

The rooms at Jefferson Inn are definitely outdoorsy, with what are probably scenes of the surrounding areas wallpapered on entire walls. Very convenient being able to park right outside our room and unload directly without luggage cart or elevator/hallways. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

For a hotel that is not cheap, the building is in shabby condition and not well maintained. One might consider it to be competing with, for example, a Comfort Inn but it would lose that comparison. Some light fixtures are broken. When I was there, the upstairs hallway was cooled by leaving a door open to the outside—a security problem. There are not enough tables and chairs for more than a handful of guests for breakfast. Breakfast is mostly pre-packaged sweets of various types. And lastly, it’s within a stone’s throw from the interstate.
