Presentable, but up close, not worth it

This resort needs to take some extra time for cleaning/maintenance. The pool for the family was filthy. I had to go in and request for a net to clean both the pool and hot tub. There were so many bugs in the hot tub especially, laying all over the top and bottom. We checked in on Labor Day, so I wouldn’t say it was “out of season”. For the price we paid, I did NOT expect mold growing in one of the showers, nor being very dirty under furniture that we had to move for various reasons. The clothes dryer tore up several articles of clothing, not sure how or why???!!

Nice place

We liked this room a lot. There was one with the bed frame but we took care of it ourselves and had no issue otherwise. The staff was very friendly. We loved the quiet location and it was kind of fun staying on a golf course. It is a very picturesque place and close to Glacier National Park, which is why we came. Nice big shower in our room. This hotel seemed like a good find.

The restaurant/bar always stops serving food over 1/2 hour early. I’ve even called ahead and been assured they’re open. Check in then have to leave site to get food. This has happened my last 3 stays. Front desk has confirmed they should be open and serving. Older tall gentleman that seams to run the bar/restaurant is always rude.

Our check in wasn’t great - we booked a 4 person room but when we arrived we were told the room we booked for 4 people likely wouldn’t fit us all as it was a sofa bed and there was no housekeeping to move us elsewhere. We were then just handed a key with no information, wifi, directions, etc. The room ended up being okay, and we went down to reception for more information afterwards. The pool area was nice, a bit dated and dark but it worked. We ate on site at the restaurant but were told we had to order as soon as we sat down or the kitchen wouldn’t be able to make us food because of a large group on the patio, so it was quite rushed. Overall the service wasn’t great, but it worked for the night we stayed. The property outside was beautiful and the rooms seemed clean and comfortable.

2nd stay here. Really love the location and proximity to Glacier National. Value is great. Love the pool/hot tub/sauna. Booked a room at the clubhouse but received a condo instead for the same price with a kitchenette. It’s a quiet property and spacious. Will always stay here whilst visiting Whitefish/Glacier National.
