Staff was very welcoming as was the lobby with the roaring (gas) fire and free coffee 24 hrs. Elevator available and free parking behind the building. Very nicely decorated with actually good artwork, good bed, very clean, breakfast voucher at great little cafe two doors down. Only minor inconvenience- hot water took a long time to get up to the second floor, but it did eventually.

The room was wonderful and the person at the desk was excellent! The hotel was dated but charming. There was no breakfast but a great diner is in West Lebanon. The elevator to our assigned room was broken so they gave us an upgrade to a Junior suite. This entailed me pushing a cart outside in the cold and ice to another building since my partner could not do it and there was no one available to help us. If you are old like we are I would suggest another hotel. However, the proximity to downtown and the theatre was spectacular. Great staff!

The Collige house is a great alternative to a sterile chain hotel. The spacious rooms, bathrooms, hallway and cozy lobby reflect past grandeur. The location in a small indie town is wonderful. Beds are comfortable. If Formica bathroom counters and old furniture in the room do not bother you this is the place to stay.

Very clean room and friendly staff. Nice fireplace in the lobby and vouchers to help pay for breakfast at restaurants next door. That being said we had the two connecting rooms and they were very small and dated. Unfortunately you could also hear the noise from the bar across the street but it got better once they closed (I recommend asking for an interior room) Beds were ok but not great for comfort. Also when we booked we weren’t aware that the Two rooms were connected by the bathroom, which made for an awkward night. Also the only room amenities were a refrigerator in one room and a chair in the other.
