Only thing wrong was we didn’t stay long enough. We loved this little cottage. It’s a beautiful little home away from home. Whitby was fantastic as well. Wish we’d known ahead of time how much we would love it so we could have booked a longer stay.

The weather was not great, but we still had a lovely overnight stay in Whitby at Clarence Cottage. The host was very informative via e-mails. The whole cottage is clean throughout and is on a very quiet side street. Free Parking (scratch card) provided in any 3-hour zone, day and night, for the duration of the stay. Very central to all amenities, i.e., West Cliff, pier and shops. Would definitely recommend this holiday home. Thank you, Charlotte, we thoroughly enjoyed staying in your charming little cottage.

A two night break in whitby

A lovely cottage in a peaceful location and only a five minute walk to the harbour. Communication was excellent from Charlotte the property manager, all in all a very clean and comfortable home from home cottage.

Great Cottage, great location, a must!

Great cottage in a great location. Cottage has everything you need, is decorated to the highest standards, clean and homely. Nice quiet location but only a minute away from all the shops in Whitby. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back sometime.

Communication from booking to arriving was excellent. The cottage was spotless, in a great location with easy access to all the restaurants, cafes, bars, shops etc. The benefit of a parking place was a big plus.

Tranquil stay in the centre of Whitby

We had a brilliant stay at Clarence Cottage and would try to stay here again if we return to Whitby. Fantastic location allowing you to make multiple trips a day out around the local area: it was about a 7min walk from the shops, cafe, beach and museum in any direction. The Cottage was exactly as seen in the photos and has a light, airy yet cosy feel to it (even in November). Everything was clean and we really appreciated the parking permits for our stay as it relieved that stress too. Overall it was a wonderful place to stay to help us make the most of our short break- thank you.

Absolutely lovely stay at this property. We were only there for 1 night but can't reccommend enough. Tea, coffee and biscuits were left in the kitchen for us. TV in the living room was smart TV and there was a TV in both bedrooms. Beds were a tiny bit springy but still comfortable. Shower downstairs is a bit dated but still useable. Incredibly clean though absolutely no complaints on that front. Property manager was in touch and easy to contact. Some might be confused by the parking situation but it is laid out very clearly in the information provided. Would happily stay again!

An immaculate property, ideally located within a short walk from Whitby harbour. Communication from Clarence Cottage was clear and extremely helpful. Charlotte was on hand for any questions and checked everything was ok afterwards too! Five star service, cottage and home comforts! I'd definitely book again and highly recommend Clarence Cottage for a stay in Whitby!
