On arrival, after signing so many pages of time and conditions, I’ve been asked for credit card details in case something happened in the room or something is missing? The floor in the room was making loud sounds(creak). No soap, no shower gel. Went to reception and asked if they can give me a one of these little tiny bottles of shampoo or shower gel, the answer was sorry this is only for gold room is yours is silver. They sent someone to the room to add soap but she couldn’t manage to open it so she left it the plastic bottle next to the sink.

Don’t ruin your holiday!

Location is the only good thing! Dirty room despite I asked twice to clean again my room when I checked in! The beds were damaged and the sleep was terrible. They charged me for 2 days of parking and i left after one night and they never refund the second day of parking.

Information not legally r'qd insisted upon checking in. Bed had not been changed and thick dust on furniture. Next to a room where a couple spent an entire night swearing/screaming leading to violence and nobody came to the door til 4am. Absolutely terrifying!!!! No phone in room and only answer phone from mobile. Worst hotel ever - reputation was well known locally it seems.

This hotel is in a great location. I had a single room which whilst not large was comfortable and had everything I needed and wanted. The staff were very helpful. On arrival I was taken to my room and the guy carried my case for me. Throughout my stay they were constantly helpful. The food in the restaurant is not great.

Check in was very disappointing as our room had been given to another guest. While this was being sorted out we had to wait in the bar area, we were given complimentary drinks at the bar while it took around 40 minutes to get into our room. When we finally checked in the carpet was tired and filthy with several stains. We found packaging under the window. The shower was very tired and with dirty sealant. The sink was blocked and they had to come and clear it. There was also a cookie under the bed - that our dog found! It just showed it hadn’t been cleaned properly. We were overall impressed with Joanne in reception. We were not impressed with the lady who I spoke with on the Friday morning, she was very direct and very unfriendly. We will NOT be returning. On the Friday we noticed that the fire alarm panel was alarming with a note saying the cellar alarm was activated, this went on all day. The only positive thing I could mention was the evening bar staff who were very friendly and welcoming and who put on really excellent entertainment on the Thursday & Friday night. Well done the to bar staff for making the stay bearable.

We had a really lovely stay at The Jubilee Hotel, the hotel was very clean. Very nice room with everything you needed. comfortable bed very happy with the comfort of the accommodation. The breakfast was really good, well cooked with plenty of choice 😋 our party of three all agreed we have never stayed anywhere with such a lovely friendly team of staff, absolutely fantastic, everyone we met that worked there and spoke to in every department were so friendly helpful and kind, 😊we loved it and will definitely be booking to stay again.
