This peaceful beach retreat has all you need for a getaway to the seaside. This property is set in a quiet area that’s the perfect base with a beach on your doorstep. The vibrant coastal resort of Weymouth is a short bus or drive away where you can visit Sea Life Centre Weymouth, RSPB Radipole Lake, SandWorld (spring and summer only) and Nothe Fort. Each of these charming attractions is within 4 miles. You can follow the South West Coast Path into Weymouth too. Venture 10 miles to visit the wonderful Abbotsbury Swannery or the Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens. If you’re here for beach days on the sand, you are spoilt with all the fantastic seaside places to visit. The peaceful and sheltered cove of Smallmouth Beach sits right opposite this cottage, complete with a gently shelving shoreline that makes it lovely for swimming. A couple hundred metres away you can visit the vast shores of Chesil Beach, perfect for long coastal walks, picnics and adventures.
This charming holiday let offers space and comfort and boasts little seaside touches throughout, reminiscent of the coastal scenery outside. A lovely entrance hall leads you into the holiday let, complete with a cloakroom WC and new shower. Head from the hallway out into the beautiful, open-plan living space which runs from the front of the house through to the back. The lounge end offers plenty of comfortable seating the centres around a Smart TV, and a window framing scenic views. Next, you’ll come to the dining space complete with pretty dining table and chairs, then an archway leads you through to the well-equipped kitchen space. From the lounge, stairs lead up to the first floor. At the front of this retreat sits the double bedroom, which boasts its own balcony with seating for two where you can take in the sea views – perfect for that morning coffee. Next door is the stylish bathroom, complete with a shower over the bath where you can enjoy a soak or freshen up. Two more bedrooms await at the rear of the first floor: one restful twin room and one bunk bedroom. The bunk room is only suitable for children, and offered on request so please let us know when you book if you’d like to make use of it.
Outside, an enclosed courtyard garden is the perfect place to sit and relax between days out. It’s accessed via a set of doors from the dining area and offers outdoor seating. What makes this property really special is the nearby beach, which can be accessed directly from the close.
