Last minute check in on a Wednesday 29th, just after leaving a very bad hotel there call the Savoy i mean very bad. So any checking in was greated by a lovely young lady name Nicole was very affiliate explaining the how things are in the hotel if i needed any thing. Well done i shall be back .

A nice place to stay before and after a holiday flight from Bristol Airport. Ideally located within the town with good free parking and easy access to the shops restaurants and the sea front. The hotel condition is a bit dated now but that just adds to its charm. The bedroom was warm and comfortable with a good bathroom and all very clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Room very dated. Dirty carpet and soft furnishings. Cleaning not up to standard. Bleach and toothbrush needed to clean around taps, shower screen and tiles. Unable to control room temperature with radiators coming on during the night. Reception area and corridors smelt musty Overall not a good experience and won’t be booking this hotel again

Shower tap not working - had to have bath. WC does not flush properly, felt mattress springs, buffet breakfast at 9am was cold, breakfast table rocked like a sea saw. Like- location , impressive building, clean and could be excellent value if problems addressed

Assigned a single room on arrival even though paid for double, eventually resolved. Cleanliness of room left a bit to be desired. Noise from bar across the street went on until early hours. Apparently this is a regular occurrence so visitors should be made aware

No Sleep Hotel Avoid this hotel at all costs, booked a double room, allocated a room facing the town on the 1st floor. During the afternoon it felt like I was in Vinnies the karaoke bar on the corner of the street, it was so loud, and the windows may as well not have been shut. I looked up the closing time, 11pm, so could have lived with that, but that was the least of the problems. Several other bars opposite are open until 0200 and all you could hear was music and screaming drunk people out the windows until 0300. Then at 0630 the people? in the room above were stomping round like a herd of wilder beast, I don't know how they could make so much noise walking in the room, it's not that big ! My tops tips are: 1 Do not stay in this hotel 2 Get a sea facing room 3 Get a room on the 2nd floor 4 Bring industrial ear defenders.

Picked this hotel as it was close to the front, had parking etc Its location is just off the very busy bar and nightclub area and there was lots of noise overnight. Breakfast was good.

Charming seaside resort close to shopping areas, but also close to karaoke bars that did not feature any talent. Still, it was great to go for a walk along the sea in the morning. Breakfast was good, but pricey for what it was. Room was nice, clean and warm.

The hotel is a lovely old building in dire need of refurbishment. It looks tired and needs updating. It was clean, but the sheets and towels are off colour. The biggest problem is that our room was on the first floor, immediately above the entrance to a night club and the noise of revellers carried on till 3-00 am. The management know about this as they supply ear plugs, but these only partly worked. It would have been nice to have been told about this before we had settled in, or maybe improve the sound insulation to the windows. My assumption is that they do not get many repeat bookings.

Parking and check in was good. Nice large room but very irritating green light in the ceiling was constantly on and kept me awake at night. This meant I had very little sleep. There was also excessive noise from down below from early morning.

The receptionist who checked me in was lovely. I had forgotten to request a room with no stairs and she was very helpful. I wasn't in the hotel much as I was visiting friends, but my room was very nice and the bed was warm and comfy.
