Decent but noisy hotel

I will start out by saying the staff were wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. Decent continental breakfast every morning. Not a luxury hotel but they don't claim to be. The biggest negative was noise. We were on the first floor and could hear noise from above, beside and in the hall. People got up early and some were incredibly loud.

Does in a pinch

Staff is 5 star. Lobby had fresh coffee both in the morning and in the evening. There is an ice machine in the breakfast area along with a water fountain where you can fill up your water bottle. Breakfast was sufficient - choices are limited but it hit the spot. The rooms are TINY.

Stayed in Mountain Vista for 5 days for my recent family trip. Love the place for the helpful staff. The location is good , 10 mins from west entrance. The only suggestion I have is to have one more microwave in the breakfast areas as most people are trying to get the breakfast around the same time and heading to the NP.

The hotel is part of a KOA. It is in a quiet area outside of town. The staff are very friendly and courteous. Our room was small but clean and comfortable.

My mixed emotions about this place. Loved the area. Staff is super friendly, they have breakfast included, is this area it saves you a few bucks. Rooms are renovated, clean linens, towels with all the essentials. Coffee maker, microwave and fridge. They also have a laundry facility which is super convenient. Entrance to Yellowstone National Park is just minutes away. Lots of beautiful shops at a short drive. Just because it looks separated from the town on the map doesn't mean anything. It literally takes you 6 to 7 minutes to get there. The only negative thing I have to mention about it:(there's nothing anyone can do to change it) This place is loud. We stayed on the first floor, and we could hear the people walking on the hallway, the sound of the water running in other rooms, and the morning and night buzz. It doesn't mean it's the same on the second floor I'm just giving my personal opinion. Now, that doesn't mean we had a bad time as we stayed in this place, it was just worth the mention. There's a small lake only a few minutes away, my husband and I really enjoyed the drive going there. Over all a really nice experience.
