Service matters. I'd give this hotel 5 stars if not for the staff at the front desk when we checked in (and every afternoon thereafter). Our room was large and comfortable with charming decor. The complimentary breakfast always had plenty of tasty options. Everything was immaculately clean. The two women at the front desk when we checked in were the opposite of warm and welcoming. One of them just looked at us like we were interrupting her conversation with her coworker, while the one who spoke and checked us in was surly and borderline rude. I can't understand why this lovely hotel would have these two people representing them.

Great location! Staff are very friendly and attentive. The room itself is good and comfortable however they are quite dated and could use some upgrades. Especially the bathroom which seemed to have some mildew and mold spots. Breakfast was quite good and the pool was a great add on!

Decor was nice. Very close to West Entrance. Breakfast very good. Modern. Liked that the bathroom with toilet and shower separate from the sink. We got free bear spray to use at the desk. Found this out by accident. Walking distance to everything else we did.

The bed was uncomfortable, and the breakfast wasn't good. The location was very close to the entrance of Yellowstone. This hotel caters to the tour buses. So be prepared for long waits when one arrives.

Staff & Service only got 3 stars because the staff at check-in was terrible. NO customer service or warm welcome. It was like Interacting with a clueless, glazed over teenager working the counter at McDonalds. However, the nice lady working the desk at check-out was wonderful! Also, LOVED the fire pit!

Nice hotel but slightly expensive. Good for family. Breakfast was great. One of the few hotels where the breakfast options weren't repeated. Lot of breakfast options. Nice dining area. Free parking. Safe and quiet place to stay with family. Closest options to most of the view points from the West Yellowstone gate.

We actually ended up leaving the hotel at 1:30am this morning because the smell from the road construction was unbearable and we all go nauseous. If we would have had prior notice to this happening we would have canceled our stay. Also for $300 a night we would have liked a working shower with hot water.
