Shabby, worn but cost-effective, if you like. We did not experience bugs as other reviews mentioned. But the first room (211) we entered had stained old carpet throughout and had a floor. No problem moving to another fresher and neater room.
The lobby is depressing - the worst furniture one can buy from a second-hand store - certainly discourages hanging out. There is no other place to congregate except the breakfast room when it is open.
Breakfast is cold cereal, waffles, apples and oranges, Dannon low fat yogurt cups, bagels, muffins, toast. The coffee is good
