We enjoyed the balcony off our room for morning coffee. We would prefer a room safe as most hotels in this category include safes in the rooms. A few minor details could be improved. Newly renovated so that's a plus. Coffee excellent but pricey.

There was a minor fire because of a discarded cigarette. The night manager was empathetic and prompt in extinguishing the fire. When I relayed the incident to the manager the next morning an afternoon the they had no response. Upon check out I informed the hotel manager who acted like he cared but really did not want to be bothered. When I checked out at the desk the manager there had different versions of the incident and was very aggressive when I tried to explain what happened. I was promised rewards points and an email to verify but still nothing. Also the balance of my deposit for incidentals has not been returned.
