I booked a room with two queen beds, but upon arrival the front desk assigned us a basement room with only a partial window. I immediately requested to be moved to the room type I had booked, but was told the hotel was fully booked. Despite raising this issue within five minutes of check-in, the hotel refused to offer a refund. We were simply looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay during our short vacation. Unfortunately, the room did not meet those expectations. The cleanliness was poor, the environment was noisy, and the noise insulation was inadequate, which made it very difficult to rest. Overall, our stay was a horrible experience. I did not receive the room I paid for, and the hotel staff was unfriendly and unhelpful in resolving the situation.
