Great Up North Stay!

The cabin was extremely clean and very spacious. Plenty of extra kitchen utensils, blankets, and towels. We really enjoyed our time here! The host was communicative and friendly!

Overall, our stay was mixed. On the positive side, the house had plenty of space for our family of five, and it included the amenities we needed for a comfortable vacation. The beds were very comfortable, and the game room downstairs was a huge hit with our kids—they spent a lot of time enjoying it.Unfortunately, there were several significant issues that impacted our experience. We encountered a mouse in the home, found mouse droppings, and discovered that the dishwasher was not working. When we opened it, it was full of dirty, moldy dishes, which was both unpleasant and concerning. We reached out to the owners about these issues, but communication was poor, and our concerns were not addressed in a timely or helpful manner.This property has a lot of potential because of its size, layout, and family-friendly features. However, the cleanliness, maintenance, pest control, and responsiveness of the hosts need significant improvement before we could recommend it to other guests.

Quiet getaway

The inside of this Lodge is beautifully decorated, updated and clean (outside of the food we found left in the microwave and oven). We enjoyed the hot tub, but unfortunately, not the "movie theatre" as there were no directions on how to use the system and we were unable to get it to work. The game room was fun, a few have seen better days (broken / missing parts), but we could still enjoy it. It's a very secluded area which was quiet and enjoyable. I had to reach out to the owners to obtain the information on how to enter, and the response was quick. It is a great location for larger group gatherings as there are many bedrooms, rest rooms and seating options. We'd consider this again if ever in the area.
