Lovely old country inn setting. Our room was beautiful and we had the added bonus of a separate kitchen and lounge. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was disappointing, but our breakfast the next morning was delicious.

Enjoyable and welcoming visit

Gave us a friendly and enjoyable stopover for our onward journey to Cornwall. Food was lovely and breakfast included was very nice. Dog friendly with a nice walk across the road through surrounding fields. A lovely setting and would recommend if you’re wanting to break a longer journey up or looking for a weekend stop with your dog.

No wonder this inn is rated so highly, it's a wonderful getaway in a charming village. The lamb dinner and hot English breakfast were outstanding. Friendly atmosphere and very welcoming staff. Our room was spacious and clean.
