The room was beautiful. It looked newly renovated and the bathroom was lovely as well. The bed on the other hand was horrible. The bed was extremely hard! The manager of housekeeping tried his best to help make it more comfortable but no luck.

Front desk staff very polite and helpful (advised us that breakfast was included in our room rate which we had not appreciated) Room excellent - large, well appointed and spotless with a wonderful huge bed and an immaculate bathroom Breakfasts were very good with attentive staff We have stayed several times over the past years and this is our go-to in Wellington not only for the above reasons but also the central location which is close to most of the attractions in the CBD

As I mentioned to the front desk staff, there was a lot of noise coming from the gym on level 3, as people dropped weights. This was particularly annoying early in the morning and late at night. It’s opening hours should really be restricted.

The staff were nice and the room itself was perfectly fine. The biggest problems were that the walls are very thin and we were in a room below the gym (which is the third floor). There was constant banging on the ceiling during the morning/evening when the gym was open so this was very annoying. I’ve never been in a hotel with the gym above rooms before.
