Good basic room in a convenient location. I loved having an outside access door that opened to where the car was parked just outside. Beds were comfy. Could be better: only 2 towels despite booking for 2 adults and a child, windows rattled a LOT in the wind and kept me awake (strange closing mechanism didn't seem to shut tight), tv turned on randomly in the middle of the night, limited tv and nothing for kids. Would stay again for the location.

As others have said the staff are very friendly and helpful whilst the hotel is definitely showing its age. It was perfect for us as we had a short transit in and out of wellington airport - the free pick up and drop off was excellent.
