On a Tuesday when we stayed, multiple individuals in parking lot sitting in their service trucks with engines running. Why? Also, Wi-Fi is terrible.

Clean but dated. Suite Rooms were large. Breakfast was good and hot not continental. Good selection....sausage and bacon cheesy scrambld eggs biscuits and gravy and of course waffles. Nice hotel for the price. Compares well to a comfort inn.

Booked the room several weeks in advance because we were going to be in town for a little league baseball tournament. At 7pm, while at the game, we get a call saying they overbooked and didn’t have a room for us. You’d think they’d let you know by 3pm, check in time, but no. This left us scrambling for another hotel room very last minute. We ended up having to stay 40min from the tournaments and had to pay $200 more for two nights. The next day I got a voicemail that we hadn’t signed the check in paperwork. I called and told them we hadn’t checked in and why. They had my phone number registered with a different person staying there, which seems strange to me. Will be watching my bank account for the next few days go make sure they don’t charge us for the weekend stay.

Overall this is a decent hotel. Staff are friendly and clearly the owner supports the staff. Almost always there was a child at the desk. Well behaved and cared for. Nice to see family friendly work environment. Room was clean, except for some mildew around the shower caulk, I was happy with the room. Maintenance man was friendly and cheery and asked if was happy with my room.

Staff was friendly. Room was dingy. Clean sheets but carpet stained, holes in the window curtains, grates on AC broken off, mold stains in the bathroom in shower grout. Room smelled bad.

The young woman that checked us in was very nice and pleasant. Once in the room there are stains all over the carpet, some type of wrapper on the ceiling, mold in the bathroom. The smell of musky or mold was very strong as well. Room needs to be completely overhauled.

The check in staff was dismissive and rude. The rooms are old and patch work has visibly been done. There are other newer hotels in the area that we would suggest staying in over this hotel. The other hotels did not populate when searching for hotels in the area.

The staff was great and that’s about it. Ants all over the first floor and crickets in the beds. Roaches also seen in the hallway. The wall trim was lose thru the entire room and bugs entered the bathroom and main room. Told the staff they were not too concerned. Breakfast was terrible too just reheated food except the waffle machine. The OJ was so watered down. And on top of that there was a baseball tournament going on so the prices were ridiculous
