Do not like new look for rooms.

Was expecting the kind of room I’m used to getting. This room had only a small desk, no end table with lamp, no coffee table, just a big , unfriendly open space. General manager said that Hilton is taking furniture out of rooms and emptiness is the new look. I will be looking at other hotels.

Daytime staff were friendly & courteous. Evening check-in staff did not disclose $50 pet fee. Construction/tile work was going on by front desk and breakfast area and there was lots of dust in the air.
